The SA Mobile Desktop links you to all available SAMNet features and services. Note: do not confuse this with the Windows Desktop which contains links to installed software, My documents, My computer, and other files you may choose to save there. to get to the SA Mobile Desktop, press "Alt+Tab". If you have not started SAMNet yet, and are using system Access as your screen reader, you can press "Modifier+D" or "Control+Alt+N". If you are using NVDA, or other software using control+Alt+N to start their program, go to the Windows Desktop by simultaneously holding down the Windows key while pressing the letter "M", press the letter "S" until you hear "System Access Mobile Network" and press enter.
The SA Mobile Desktop contains the following options: "SA Mobile Network Home", where SAMNet users spend most of their time; "Email", "My Media Library", "Notes", "My Files", "Active Downloads", "Socializer", "Document Scan", "Bookmarks,", "Help" and "Search". Simply press enter to launch the item of interest to see how it works. Most features are intuitive. But if you need further explanation on how to use a feature, or want to know all available keyboard shortcuts, read on as each is explained in greater detail in appropriate help sections.
