My name is Jim Boswell. I am a life coach. I am passionate about career and life planning for blind and visually impaired persons. I am taking coaching classes through CoachVille.
My requirements for coaching are two fold:
1. That you have definite goals in your life.
2. That you will not use blindness as the reason you lose in life.
I have researched lives of blind persons who have become successful.
They have five characteristics in common.
1. They love their work, and that love translates itself into joy and enthusiasm.
2. They ignore their critics, those who say, “you can’t do this because you are blind.” Our critics should become our champions.
3. Instead, these successful blind persons go for their dreams, and concentrate on the persons they want to become.
4. They put foundations under their dreams by planning for their accomplishments and by networking with those who can help them.
5. They have faith and positive expectations that their dreams and goals will be fulfilled.
