Well, this Memorial Day, May 27, you can join the fun virtually by clicking in to my Aira live session at approximately 7:15 am. Mountain time to hear all of the action. During my ten kilometer walk you will hear every band and musician, along with descriptions of the amazing costumes, signs, exhibits, and anything else that happens along the way. You can learn more about The Bolder Boulder by clicking

And, finally, we’ve brought things up to speed and made things current for adding portable updated braille hardware. for iPhone use. Learning all about the Smartbeetle braille display.

Also, upgraded to iPhone 10. We figured make current tech last a while, and work in conjunction with responsiveness when it comes to bluetooth and connectivity with current Cochlear processors.
Lots of talking things to play, magnets to stick on fridge and on head. And braille display on the way for use with i phone. Great to have braille again after not being current with usable hardware for several years.

The Production
We’re all works in progress. Join this collaboration between PHAMALY and CCA actors as we explore the road maps of our lives and voices, challenging the very construct of “disability.”
Together CCA students and PHAMALY company members will present a series of original short plays and sketches centered around perceptions of disability, with a focus on visibility, breaking down barriers, and highlighting voice and awareness of those living with disabilities within our college and greater community.
Show contains some mature content. Recommended for ages 15+.

Happy 10th anniversary day for my first activation right ear implant! The system booted up, and there was coherent use of that ear for the first time in 25 years. Since mid senior year highschool, the right ear turned into a permanent very bad end result situation, with only very broken semblances of noise. As life journey moved on, the left ear progressed badly to follow the right in tandem. Now I have 2 ears again, back where I was before any of this onset in March 1975. Heartfelt thanks to family, friends, colleagues, and all else who have found their way joining along with the adventure! Here’s to celebrating with the special foods in honor of the occasion! Raise up some icecream, and have a hotdog as well

[Colorado-talk] the passing of Romona Wolcott
With a heavy heart Maryann Migliorelli has posted the following:
Our entire family wanted to reach out and let everyone know that mom, Romona Wolcott, passed away last night. Romona was a member of the NFB for 10 years and is survived by her husband Jim Wolcott, an NFB member for 28 years, her daughter Maryann Migliorelli who has been a member of the NFB for 22 years and her son-in-law Paul Migliorelli, also a longtime member of the NFB. Prior to moving to Colorado in May of 2006, Romona had spent many years living in New York.
Romona passed away at home in her own special and awesome way. As soon as there are details of services and other things, we will pass them along.
Thanks for your warm thoughts, prayers and great wishes. Celebrate mom like we planned to.
