We were supposed to fly out Monday night, but not until Saturday the 1st at 9 pm. Jetblue, landing Sunday midnight. We’re at Ira and Tracie’s on Staten Island, great company and catching up. We had to cancel our Manhattan gathering on Sunday, but will be in town Friday the 31st daytime, and we’ll see if anyone wants to gather spur of the moment for lunch at Limerick House on 23rd Street around 1pm. If you’re in the area, and can make it, give us a call 303–499-9125. Then, back to Staten Island for New Year.
Oh yes. You can check it all out on www.jingles.com
There are 2 sites, 1 free, and 1 with a free trial, and a nominal monthly fee, for some very enjoyable game playing fun.
www.allinplay.com
offers many games, including word games, and card games, such as Crazy 8s, Texas Holdem, and blackjack. I haven’t learned Holdem, but 8s is certainly fun. And, the site is designed for sighted users alike, with visual animation. And, perfectly accessible for blind folks. I usually try to post on twitter when we’re about to be over on allinplay for an evening.
www.x-sight.interactive.net/rsgames
offers online Monopoly, for multiplayer access. Great multimedia sounds for all game functions. Quite entertaining, and it is free!! More games and further development upcoming in the near future.
So, even if you only do a month free trial on allinplay, check it out, and keep a lookout for us on Crazy 8s. Hope to catch you at the tables in either place!!.
Out to dinner New York Pizza on Saturday with friends, and for ourselves, the Boulder cork on Sunday!! And no springtime blizzard to whiten the celebrating!! We had a great time last Wednesday at the ballgame, visiting the New York radio booth for 2 innings, and the TV side for 1.
