If you are interested in computer science as a degree from the prospective of a blind student then feel free to follow along with this blog. As the Introduction to Computer Science as a Degree progresses I will post what I am learning while shining light onto the blind college experience!
Before going any further I should introduce myself more formally.
My name is Travis Fugate and I am in my senior year at California State University Monterey Bay. I am studying Computer Science and Information Technology with an emphasis in Software Engineering.
My experience is somewhat unique due to having lost my eye sight nearly 10 years ago. That is another story…
