The Fudge and brittle were a hit at the office.

A good feeling is had when something is delved into by all, when a treat comes from the heart of a kitchen with total sincerity. It’s great when treats are enjoyed by all immediately, before you’re fully in the door (smiles)

Happy Hollydaze to you All!!

Here’s wishing you all the best. This is the text edition of this post, in case you can’t hear the audio version shown below. Off to New York for a quicktripp, back next Wednesday night. If you call the 3 0 3 5 5 2 6 9 7 0 shoephone, I’ll answer, but if I don’t catch it in time, be sure to stay phoned for the greeting, which is that alltime favorite, Manger 6, available for all your hollydaze lodging needs. Hollydaze cds 2007 are trickling out the door, and I apologize for the delay before the day itself. Be well and safe!!
Love in full magnetism from here…

A Fudge-filled Weekend

Posted:

This weekend was quite the experience for beginning to learn many things about stove-top preparations for the holidays. I learned quite a lot about the physical nature and makeup of various varieties of fudge, and we did peanut brittle as well. It will be good to further sample the finished products tomorrow as they settled into their proper form. With Maryann and her mom Ramona, expertly tending the batches. As I’ve learned this holiday season, it’s great to get an appreciation for the entire cook bake processes.

Another put together smorgasbord of holiday humor fun, and reflections of what wonderful things have happened this year. Those of you who know the past productions, I think you’ll enjoy this one. There’s even an audio snapshot taking you back to February 8, and implant activation date. You get to hear the moment when I hear the first random words, and the accompanying reactions. Be sure and send along your current postal addresses if you’d like one. Email link is on the intro of the page. I’ll get them out quick as I can, but remember, if it arrives after the 25th, Christmas ***does run thru Jan 6!! Hmmmm. Wonder if I can do stupid magnet tricks, like be a living holiday tree ornament, stuck to a metal tree? But if said tree is aluminum, I guess it won’t happen that way (smile).

A Wonderful happy Birthday To Mee

Truly the bestist birthday time in a long time!! Maryann and I had great fun seeing friends for breakfast, and birthday dinner, (Karen and Bree joined us, as it was happy birthday Karen as well). Wonderful leisurely hanging out time, ***beautiful gifts of champagne glasses, and surprises popping up at work, and beautiful roses sent to work, (Thank you, for all, Maryann, for making things a wonderful celebration), this year has truly been filled with precious gifts (smile)!! And, I’m even beginning to have quite a hint and inkling of musical note identification finding its way back. I’ve missed my absolute pitch the last 10 years, and definitely felt its loss when it went away. I’m totally determined to reteach myself how to get in sync musically in full once again!! We had great birthday lunch and cake on Monday. I was close in guessing what key happy birthday was being sung, and over the weekend, I was able to pick out the keys of various holiday songs. Last night, we had the Optimist Club holiday party, and we both enjoyed celebrating the end of the year, and successful projects with the group. Thanks always, Maryann, for braving such weather, coming in all the way from Littleton. I’m now beginning to practice extra in order to be ready to play for singalong for Peter’s houseparty on the 23rd. I missed last year’s gathering, as I was 5 days late coming in due to the New York style snow we had days before Christmas. I look forward to making it there on time!!
